How to fill a hole around an electric socket

Changing an electric socket has pulled the plaster away leaving a large hole. Fill gaps up to ¾ inch / 20mm deep in one application with Deep Gap Polyfilla. Step by step process

    Ensure surface and hole are dry and free from loose material.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Using a filling knife apply directly into hole and smooth off with a wet knife. For holes over 20mm deep, build up in layer to dry in between.

    Once dry, sand with fine sandpaper for a perfect finish ready for painting.

    Step 4

    Can be over painted with care once surface is dry. After use replace lid, wash tools in warm water.
